Gurgen Harutyunyan

Gurgen Harutyunyan has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Gurgen started their career in 1997 as a System Engineer at Armentel JSCo., Vimpelcom Company, where they worked on mobile communication networks. Gurgen then joined TU Ilmenau in 1998 as a Graduate Research Assistant in the RF and Microwave Research Laboratory, and later participated in a scientific research program.

In 2004, Gurgen Harutyunyan joined RFS - Radio Frequency Systems. Gurgen held various positions within the company, including Research & Development Project Manager, Manager Technical Consulting & Product Manager Transmission Lines, Head of EMEA Business Development & Product Marketing, Head of Sales Operations EMEA, and most recently, Factory Leader & Managing Director RFS GmbH. Gurgen will soon transition into the role of Director Sales EMEA, Managing Director RFS GmbH.

Throughout their career, Gurgen Harutyunyan has gained expertise in sales, operations, business development, marketing, and technical consulting.

Gurgen Harutyunyan holds a PhD in Hochfrequenz- und Mikrowellentechnik from Technische Universität Ilmenau, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. Gurgen also has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Telecommunication Systems from the State Engineering University of Armenia, earned from 1996 to 1998. Additionally, Gurgen Harutyunyan has a Dipl. Ing degree in Radio Engineering from the State Polytechnic University of Armenia, completed from 1991 to 1996. Gurgen has also obtained a certification as a Zertifizierter Regionalleiter / Head of Regional Sales from Haufe Akademie in the year 2020.
