Dan Shelley has extensive experience in digital and broadcast journalism, currently serving as President, Executive Director, and COO of the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) since April 2017. Shelley has held various leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of Digital Content Strategy at iHeartMedia and Senior Vice President at Radio One, where responsibilities included developing and executing digital content strategies for numerous radio stations. Prior to these roles, Shelley was the Director of Digital Media at WCBS-TV and Executive Editor at CBS for digital content. Shelley's career also includes significant contributions to RTDNA/RTDNF, where Dan served as Chairman, and as News Director at WTMJ Radio and KTTS Radio, as well as experience as a host and producer at Ozarks Public Television. Shelley holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Media Communications from Missouri State University.
