David Bender

David Bender, CMP, has extensive experience in library and information management, currently serving as the Medical Ontology Manager at the Radiological Society of North America since October 2015. Bender is also a Principal at Little Fort Research Group, offering freelance legal support services since June 2009. Previous roles include On-Line Librarian for Career Education Corporation, Director of Library Services at Sanford-Brown College, and Editor at LexisNexis. Early career positions involved serving as a Reference Librarian at North Chicago Public Library and Law Librarian at Lake County, where operations of an award-winning law library were managed. Bender holds a Master of Library Science from Indiana University Bloomington and advanced degrees in Philosophy from Bowling Green State University and the University of Dayton.
