Derek Claussen

Derek Claussen is an experienced marketing and creative services professional with a strong background in graphic design and leadership. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Creative Services at the Radiological Society of North America since October 2019, Derek oversees content strategy and brand integration efforts. Previously, Derek held the position of Senior Director of Membership Marketing at the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, where supervision of a diverse team focused on enhancing member resources and services. Early career experience includes roles as Graphic Design Manager at the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Owner of Profactory Sports Performance, and various teaching positions in athletic development. Derek holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of South Carolina Aiken and has developed a comprehensive skill set in both artistic and strategic marketing disciplines.
