Mike Mechlin has extensive work experience in the IT and project management field. Mike started their career as an Operations Technician at EC Outlook in 2001. Mike then worked as a Geek Squad Technician at Best Buy from 2001 to 2004.

From 2004 to 2012, Mike worked at Nationwide Insurance, where they held various roles including Process/Project Management Analyst, Team Lead, and Senior Technical Analyst. In these roles, they were responsible for managing IT projects, improving call center productivity, creating tracking tools, and resolving complex user access issues.

In 2012, Mike joined Information Control Corporation as a Project Management Consultant. Mike worked on various projects until 2014 when they joined Ascena Retail Group, Inc. as a Change/Problem Manager. Mike held this position until 2018.

From 2018 to 2019, Mike worked as a Problem Management Analyst at TEKsystems. Currently, they are working at Radiology Partners as an IT Integration Engineer since 2019.

Mike Mechlin attended Franklin University from 2004 to 2010, where they studied Information Technology. Prior to that, in 2002, they completed a Certificate of Completion in Information Technology at Columbus State Community College. In 1998, Mike obtained a Certificate of Completion in Insurance from A.D. Banker & Company and another one in the same field from Hondros College. In 1997, they received a Certificate of Completion in Automotive Technical from Saturn Corporation. Before that, in 1995, Mike completed a Hazardous Materials Handling course in the United States Marine Corps. In 1992, they obtained a Certificate of Completion in United States Marine Corps Amphibious Assault Vehicle Repair Course from Camp Pendleton. From 1988 to 1989, Mike attended the US Navy - Naval Construction Training Center, where they earned a Certificate of Completion in Builder/Construction "A" School. Lastly, in 1986 to 1988, they completed a Certificate of Completion in Electronics at Eastland Career Center.

Additionally, in March 2013, Mike obtained ITIL v3 Foundations certification from ITIL.
