Perry Gilbert has a comprehensive work experience in the field of radiology and healthcare management. Perry started their career at Lurie Children's Hospital as an intern in Pediatrics in 1983. In 1984, they joined Northwestern Memorial Hospital and served as a Resident in Radiology, followed by Chief Resident and then Fellow in Vascular & Interventional and Cross-Sectional Imaging. In 1989, they joined Ingalls Memorial Hospital as a Diagnostic & Interventional Radiologist and eventually took on leadership roles including Vice Chairman of the Department of Radiology, Chairman of Radiology, and Chief Medical Officer. In 2005, they became the President of Radiology Imaging Consultants. In 2013, they joined Radiology Partners as the Regional Chief Medical Officer. Perry Gilbert's experience spans over three decades and includes clinical expertise, leadership positions, and a focus on radiology.

Perry Gilbert completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 1975 to 1979. Following that, they pursued their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine, from 1979 to 1983.
