Mariaelena Occhipinti

Mariaelena Occhipinti has a diverse work experience in the field of radiology and research. Mariaelena currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Radiomics since October 2020. In 2021, they started working as a Diagnostic Radiologist at Tuscany Diagnostic Centers in Montecatini Terme and Cecina. Prior to these roles, they were the Capoclinica di Radiologia at Istituto Imaging Svizzera Italiana from July to September 2020. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as a Researcher in the Radiology Department at the Università degli Studi di Firenze. Mariaelena also had a research fellow role at Mayo Clinic Rochester from June to August 2018 and at Harvard Medical School from January to December 2014. Additionally, they had a research fellow position at Laboratoire de Biorhéologie et d'ultrasonographie médicale in 2009.

Mariaelena Occhipinti's education history begins in 1997 when they earned a Scientific Diploma from Liceo Scientifico "E. Fermi" in Ragusa. From 2002 to 2009, Mariaelena studied Medicine and Surgery at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, earning an MD degree. In 2005 and 2006, Mariaelena was a student at Universidad de Valladolid. Mariaelena then pursued a Specialist in Radiology degree from 2010 to 2015 through the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. In 2015, Mariaelena obtained a European Diploma in Radiology from the European Board in Radiology. Continuing their medical education, Mariaelena earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from ECFMG in 2018. Finally, from 2016 to 2019, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Sciences at Università degli Studi di Firenze.
