Chris Bell

Chris Bell has extensive experience in the field of data center asset management and DCIM software implementation. Chris has worked in various roles, starting with Aperture in 1998 as a Professional Services Consultant. In this position, they built and delivered solutions for customers, including cleaning and importing Autocad drawings and building databases. Chris then worked as a Technical Support Engineer at Aperture from 2002 to 2009, where they collaborated with customers and the development team to solve critical issues and perform product code fixes.

From 2009 to 2013, Chris served as a Technical Support Supervisor at Aperture/Avocent, where they managed the level 2 support department and implemented reporting capabilities for upper management. Chris then joined Emerson Network Power in 2013 as a Senior Consulting Engineer, continuing their work with customers to maintain and track data center assets using DCIM software.

Chris's most recent role was as a Senior Consulting Engineer at Vertiv Co, where they worked from 2017 to 2022. Here, they worked directly with customers to maintain and track data center assets using DCIM software, installed Oracle Middleware DCIM solutions, and transformed and loaded data into the DCIM solution.

Currently, Chris is employed as a Service Application Engineer at Radix IoT, starting in 2022.

Chris Bell received their education in two separate institutions. From 1991 to 1994, they attended SUNY Buffalo, where they studied Electrical Engineering and obtained a degree. Later, from 2010 to 2012, they enrolled at Post University, focusing on Computer Science and Project Management, although they did not specify the degree obtained. In terms of additional certifications, Chris recently obtained the following qualifications: HTML Essential Training and Introduction to CSS from LinkedIn in January 2022, and Prepare for the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (EX200) Exam also from LinkedIn in November 2021.
