Greg Hillerby has a diverse work experience in the field of network engineering and administration. Greg started their career at Air Force Operation Test and Evaluation Center in 2008, where they served as NCOIC for secure communication until 2010. From 2010 to 2012, Greg worked as a Flight Chief at Mid-West Comm. Support Element. Greg then joined General Dynamics Information Technology in 2012 and held the roles of Sr. Network Technician and later Sr. Network Administrator until 2014. In 2016, Greg became a Sr. System Administrator at Northrop Grumman Corporation, where they worked until 2017. Greg then joined Lockheed Martin as a Sr. Network Engineer and served until 2022. From 2022 to 2023, Greg worked at Northrop Grumman as a Sr. Network Engineer/Lead. Currently, as of 2023, they are employed as a Network Architect/Engineer at Radix Metasystems, Inc., where they support satellite command and control ground transport systems. Throughout their career, Greg has gained experience in troubleshooting, anomaly resolution, and network architecture.
Greg Hillerby attended the Community College of the Air Force from 2010 to 2012, where they earned an Associate in Aviation Maintenance Technology with a focus on Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology/Technician. During the same time period, they also obtained an Associate in Electronic Systems Technology with a specialization in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician.
In addition to their degrees, Greg Hillerby has several certifications. In 2013, they received the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification from Pearson Vue. In 2010, they obtained the A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications from CompTIA. In 2006, they obtained the ITIL Foundations certification from ITIL Certified.
