Verita Powell

Verita Powell has extensive experience in health information management and medical coding. Verita started their career at US Oncology as the National Coding Manager from 1996 to 2000. Verita then worked at Radnet as the Director of Health Information Management and National Coding Director. Finally, they served as the National Coding Director at Radiologix, Inc. from 2000 to 2012.

Verita Powell studied Health Information Management at American Health Information Management where they obtained a degree in RHIT and RCC. Verita also holds certifications as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) from AHIMA and as a Radiology Certified Coder from RBMA.
