Laura Tobin is a seasoned data scientist currently employed at Rady Children's Institute for Genomic Medicine since August 2021. Prior to this position, Laura served as a Management Decision Support Analyst at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, where responsibilities included leveraging data analytics for executive decision-making. Experience at Defense Health Agency involved providing statistical support for the DoD HIV/AIDS Prevention Program. Laura's background also includes roles as a Senior Analyst in Biostatistics/Epidemiology, Epidemiologist Data Analyst, and Clinical Trials Research Analyst, among others, with expertise in advanced statistical analysis, project management, and research support. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boston College and a Master's degree in Epidemiology & Biostatistics from San Diego State University.
