Anne Horgan

SME, Venture Capital at Radyus Research

Dr. Anne Horgan is an advisor to Radyus and both a recovering scientist and investor.

Dr. Horgan carried out postdoctoral research at Yale University after her PhD in synthetic organic chemistry from the University of Bristol. She holds a diplôme d’ingénieur (Chemistry) from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Rouen, France, authored several peer-reviewed papers and is an inventor on eight patent families.

After a career as a medicinal chemist at Cambridge Biotechnology Ltd (now part of Benevolent AI), then in technology transfer within Cancer Research UK, Dr Horgan joined the world of venture capital. She is a Partner at Cambridge Innovation Capital focusing on biotech and biopharma investments. Prior to joining CIC Dr Horgan was part of the investment teams at Advent France Biotechnology (now AdBio Partners) and Sofinnova Partners.

Dr Horgan brings broad experience of early stage equity financing, technology transfer and scouting, business development and biotech R&D.
