Casey Weldon

Casey Weldon is an experienced journalist currently serving as a Reporter for Ragan Communications and PR Daily since July 2024 and as an Associate Editor for Movers & Makers Magazine since July 2023. Weldon's previous roles include Digital Journalist at Spectrum News 1 from June 2021 to July 2023, and Director of Communications for the City of Cincinnati from April 2015 to September 2020. As Deputy Communications Director, Weldon contributed to communications strategy prior to that role. Additional experience includes serving as Web Editor at WCPO 9 News, Freelance Copy Editor for Summit Professional Networks, and Sports Writer for Enquirer Media. Weldon began a career in journalism at the Cincinnati/Kentucky Post as a Freelance Writer and Evening News (Sports) Desk member. Weldon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a focus on Journalism and Creative Writing, along with a minor in Political Science, from Xavier University, completed in 2005.
