Abdou Rahmane Wade

Abdou Rahmane WADE is currently working as a Statistician / Data Scientist at RAGT since July 2022. In this role, WADE develops new methodologies and tools in the context of data-driven and predictive breeding using molecular and environmental data. Prior to RAGT, WADE worked as a Scientific Researcher at INRAE from February 2019 to July 2022, focusing on improving genome-wide based phenotype predictions in poplar. Additionally, WADE has also completed research internships at IRD and INRAE, and a student internship at CIRAD, where Abdou Rahmane worked on various projects related to plant genetics and statistical modeling. WADE holds a Master's degree in Plant Selection and Evolution from L'Institut Agro Montpellier, as well as a Master's degree in Plant and Microbial Biotechnology from Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar.
