Javier Hidalgo

Javier Hidalgo began their work experience in 2004 as a Paralegal at Weil, Gotshal & Manges. Javier then worked as a Senior Paralegal at Cohen Tauber Spievack & Wagner P.C. for a brief period in 2008. From 2009 to 2015, Javier worked at Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP, first as a Paralegal and later as an Associate Attorney. Javier then served as Of Counsel at Richman Law Group from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, Javier joined Simon Meyrowitz & Meyrowitz, P.C. as an Associate. Javier currently serves as the Legal Director at RAICES, where they have held multiple roles since joining in 2018, including Director of Pre-Removal Services, Supervising Attorney, and Staff Attorney.

Javier Hidalgo received their JD degree in Law from New York Law School, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Swarthmore College from 1998 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology and Anthropology. Javier completed their high school education at St. Paul's School between 1994 and 1998.
