Bogdan Popa has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Bogdan began their career as an Internship Trainee at CAIXA GERAL DE DEPOSITOS, S.A. in 1998. Following that, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Universitatea "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" din Iași before joining Arthur Andersen & Co. as a Senior Auditor in 1999.
In 2002, Bogdan joined Raiffeisen Bank Romania, where they held various positions throughout their tenure, including Head of ALM, Head of Balance sheet & portfolio management, Head of Finance and Accounting, and Chief Financial Officer. In 2017, they assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer.
Additionally, Bogdan served as a Non-Executive Board Member at Raiffeisen Asset Management and Raiffeisen Leasing Romania IFN SA during different periods.
Throughout their career, Bogdan has demonstrated their expertise in finance, accounting, and operations management, playing a key role in modernizing and overhauling the accounting and finance activities of Raiffeisen Bank Romania.
Bogdan Popa completed their education at Universitatea "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" din Iași. Bogdan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance in 1998 and went on to pursue graduate studies in Finance from 1998 to 1999.
