Samuel Calan

Samuel Calan has a strong background in web development and software engineering. Samuel started their career as a Software Engineer at Namics in 2003 and worked there for seven years. In 2011, they joined Sonova Group as a Web Application Engineer and stayed with the company until 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Nobel Biocare as the Head of Customer Facing Web Applications. Samuel has since joined Raiffeisen Schweiz, where they initially worked as a Technical Architect for a short period before becoming the Head of Web Frontend.

Samuel Calan received their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Information Technology from Fernfachhochschule Schweiz, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. In 2018 to 2019, they pursued a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

In addition to their formal education, Samuel Calan has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they became a Professional Scrum Product Owner and a Professional Scrum Master. In 2020, they achieved the certification of Professional Scrum Master II and became a Certified LeSS Practitioner. Furthermore, they acquired the Agile Leadership certification in 2021 and the Agile Coaching certification in 2023, both from the institutions Brainbirds and Xebia, respectively.
