Mark Johnston

Mark Johnston is a highly experienced professional in the rail industry, currently serving as Senior Business Relationship Manager at Rail Delivery Group since January 2019, where responsibilities include managing relationships with Train Operating Companies and other rail organizations within the Smart Ticketing on National Rail programme. Previously, Mark held the role of Programme Supplier Relationship Manager at the Department for Transport from May 2017 to December 2018, managing rail suppliers and collaborating with various stakeholders to advance smart ticketing initiatives. Mark's extensive background also includes a significant tenure at Transport for London as Programme Manager, overseeing the ITSO Smartcard infrastructure upgrade.
