Jolie Koonce

Jolie Koonce is currently working as a Digital Propaganda Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jolie utilizes research methods to collect and analyze online propaganda content, conducts research on collected content using advanced analytic techniques, and transforms data results into reports and visualizations.

In 2023, Jolie will be the Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs at Railcare Health. Jolie'sresponsibilities will include maintaining compliance with regulations, drafting legal contracts, and conducting legal research.

Previously, Jolie worked as an Office Services Assistant at Ward and Smith, P.A., where they assisted with the organization of legal documents and completed administrative tasks.

Jolie also has experience in marketing and website management as a Social Media Marketing/Website Manager at Chapel Hill Wild Bird. Jolie utilized their knowledge of bird feeding and feeder hardware to create engaging content and interact with the online community.

Additionally, Jolie worked as a Retail Sales Associate at Chapel Hill Wild Bird, where they provided exceptional customer service and gained knowledge about bird feeding and species.

Jolie also gained experience as a Summer Intern at Uzuri Sanctuary, where they focused on food independence and implemented indigenous farming techniques.

Before that, Jolie worked as a Waitress at Bear Towne Bistro & Pizza Company and as a Hostess at Lula's of Chapel Hill, where they provided excellent service and ensured a smooth dining experience for customers.

Jolie Koonce attended West Craven High School from 2016 to 2019. Jolie then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Peace, War, and Defense at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2019 to 2023. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Excel: PivotTables for Beginners" from LinkedIn in 2024 and "Project Leadership" from LinkedIn in 2023.
