Ying Liu

Ying Liu has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Ying is currently working as a Sr. Data Analyst at Railinc Corp. starting from June 2022.

Prior to their current role, they worked at UNC-Chapel Hill Digital and Lifelong Learning from January 2019 to June 2022, serving as the Associate Director of Strategy, Evaluation & Reporting. During their tenure at UNC-Chapel Hill, they also held the position of Assistant Director of Assessment & Evaluation from September 2016 to December 2018.

Before joining UNC-Chapel Hill, they worked at William Peace University as the Director of Institutional Research from November 2014 to September 2016.

Ying Liu's earlier work experience includes a role at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, where they served as the Program Assessment Coordinator from December 2012 to November 2014.

Ying Liu earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Educational Psychology and Research from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis. This degree was obtained between the years 2007 and 2012. In addition to this degree, Ying also obtained several certifications. In May 2022, Ying obtained the Data Analyst Professional Certificate and the Data Visualization with Python certification from Coursera. In April 2022, Ying obtained the Data Analysis with Python certification, also from Coursera. In May 2017, Ying obtained the SAS Visual Analytics for SAS 9: Fast Track certification from SAS.
