Nathan Quarles

Nathan Quarles has worked in the software engineering industry since 2007. Nathan began their career as a Liaison/Representative for Avanti Products, Inc., where they visited and communicated with local suppliers, sourced and purchased spare parts, and performed quality control inspections on new Avanti appliance models. In 2008, they were promoted to Lead Product Coordinator, where they oversaw Avanti's product line from a database perspective and translated various Chinese-language documents into English. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Manager/Owner for New Oriental Suites International, LLC, where they managed a portfolio of studio apartments in Beijing. Nathan then worked as a Translator for Marbridge Consulting from 2013 to 2014, and as a Web Developer/Project Manager for ZDL Books from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they also took on a Consultant role at Yale Center Beijing (Yale University), where they overhauled and expanded the Center's contact database. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Consultant (Software Engineering) for Booz Allen Hamilton, where they were involved in frontend-heavy development primarily using or involving React and related libraries/frameworks. Nathan is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Theorem, LLC, and is set to begin a Senior Software Engineer role at Railroad19 in 2022.

Nathan Quarles obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Clemson University between 1997 and 2001. Nathan then obtained the Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2023, followed by the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect - Associate certification from AWS in December 2022.
