Ashley Norman has a diverse work experience. Ashley started their career in 2007 as a Day Treatment Case Aide at Charlotte White Center, where they worked until 2011. From 2011 to 2012, Ashley worked as a Photographer at Lifetouch Portrait Studios. Ashley then held the role of Communications Specialist at Penobscot Regional Communications Center from 2012 to 2016. From 2016 to 2020, Ashley worked as a Revenue Specialist & Marketing Administration at Central Maine & Quebec Railway. In 2020, they worked as a Service Delivery Coordinator at Canadian Pacific Railway, and later as an Operations Specialist at NBM Railways. Ashley then joined Wabtec Corporation as a Customer Success Manager - East Coast & Canada from 2021 to 2023. In the same period, they also served as a Committee Member (Young Professionals Committee) at the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association. Ashley is currently employed at Gulf & Atlantic Railways, LLC as an Assistant Manager Customer Service. Ashley is also a member of the League of Railway Women (LRW).

From 2010 to 2011, Ashley Norman attended Eastern Maine Community College, where they pursued a degree in EMT-Basic. Ashley'sfield of study focused on Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Basic).
