Sherif Rashed

Sherif Rashed has extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance and automation testing. Sherif is currently working as a Lead QA Engineer at Rain since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Talabat as a Senior Test Automation Engineer from 2018 to 2021, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining UI automation test scripts for the web and mobile applications. Sherif also configured Jenkins/Bitrise for automated testing and developed Rest API automation test scripts.

Before their role at Talabat, Sherif worked at tajawal as a Senior QA Automation Engineer from 2017 to 2018. Here, they created UI and backend test scripts using PHP Codeception and debugged code to identify issues. Sherif also handled test case creation and reporting using TestRail.

Sherif's earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Quality Control Engineer at TE Data from 2014 to 2017, where they ensured quality standards for projects, and as a Senior Quality Control Engineer at SiliconExpert Technologies from 2012 to 2014. At SiliconExpert Technologies, they developed test plans and scenarios, performed automated testing using JMeter, and analyzed requirements for system testing.

Sherif began their career as a Junior Quality Control Engineer at NTG clarity from 2010 to 2012. Here, they participated in test case preparation and execution for OSS systems and maintained test documentation.

Sherif also briefly worked as a Software Test Engineer at Saudi Telecom Company in 2010.

Sherif Rashed attended Alshaheed Yaser Elga3ly Secondary School from 2002 to 2004. Sherif also obtained the following certifications: ISTQB – CTFL - Agile Tester from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in 2017, ISTQB-CTFL from the same institution in 2016, and ITIL Foundation Certificate from ITIL Certified in 2015.
