Thamsanqa Nkanyiso Mbatha

Thamsanqa Nkanyiso Mbatha is a seasoned professional in the field of radio access networks, currently serving as the Manager of Radio Access Network at rain South Africa since April 2017, where responsibilities include leading both the Radio Access Engineering team and the strategic network optimization team. Previously, Thamsanqa held the position of Senior Specialist in Radio Access Network, focusing on the radio configuration team. Prior experience includes a role as a Radio Access Network Engineer at Huawei Technologies from January 2014 to March 2017, where involvement in projects such as RAN SWAP, new site builds, capacity upgrades, and LTE rollout was significant.
