As Chief Marketing Officer at RAIN Group, Erica leads strategy and execution for all aspects of marketing, lead generation, thought leadership development, and branding. She has over 12 years’ experience leading marketing and lead generation campaigns to fuel sales growth. While running RAIN Group’s marketing, she’s increased inbound leads by 140% and helped the company expand into 6 new countries.
Erica served as the General Manager of RainToday.com, where she shepherded the online publication's rise to becoming the largest resource for sales and marketing knowledge for professional services firms in the world with more than 100,000 subscribers. There, she oversaw all content development and marketing and led numerous product and service launches resulting in revenue growth of over 500% in 3 years while significantly increasing margins.
Prior to her work with RainToday.com, Erica was a consultant with Wellesley Hills Group, where she worked with consulting, technology, accounting, and professional services firms to strengthen their marketplace messages and competitive positioning. Her consulting work with clients included planning, creating, and implementing interactive marketing, content marketing, direct marketing, and lead generation programs.
A much sought after expert in marketing and sales, Erica has been quoted in publications such as MarketingProfs and Entrepreneur Magazine. Erica is author of numerous articles that have been published in several industry publications including Microsoft Dynamics Marketing and Sales Community, Hoovers.com, Eyes on Sales, and others. She also contributed to the book, Speaking Your Way to Success (Houghton Mifflin, April 2010). Erica is a regular contributor to the RAIN Group Sales Blog read by thousands of sales leaders and salespeople each month.
She’s run award winning marketing campaigns and was honored by the Sales Lead Management Association (SLMA) as one of the Top 20 Women to Watch in 2011 and 2016.
Erica holds a BA in Business Administration from Boston University School of Management and enjoys skiing, golfing, and anything that puts her outdoors. She’s on marketing and housing committees for the Ethan M. Lindberg Foundation, an organization that provides practical support to families facing congenital heart defects, like her own.
