Cagla Cakir

Cagla Cakir has a work experience spanning over 13 years across five different companies. Cagla began their career as a summer research assistant at EPFL in 2008, following which they worked as a part-time researcher at Oracle from 2010 to 2016. In 2016, Cagla joined ARM as a senior design engineer and worked there till 2019. Cagla then moved to Synopsys Inc, where they worked as a staff R&D engineer for four years. In 2023, Cagla joined Rain as a principal IC design engineer.

Cagla Cakir completed their primary education at Izmir Ozel Turk Fen Lisesi from 2002 to 2005. Cagla attended Sabanci University from 2005 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering. Cakir then pursued a Master of Science degree at Carnegie Mellon University from 2009 to 2012, specializing in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Cagla continued their education at Carnegie Mellon and completed their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from 2009 to 2016.
