James Followell, JD, MBA, CMC, has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. James is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Rainbow Blossom Natural Food Markets since 2016. Prior to this, they worked as the Principal and Owner of Quantum Consulting, LLC since 2006. From 2012 to 2016, they served in the Subrogation Division & Contract Review department at The Rawlings Group. James was also the Managing Director of the Hilo, HI Office at VR Business Brokers | Mergers & Acquisitions from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Lecturer in Business at the University of Hawai'i System in 2006 and as the Vice President of Operations at WinScribe SA from 2004 to 2005.

James Followell has pursued a diverse educational path throughout their career. James holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Transactional Law from Northern Kentucky University—Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Additionally, James completed the Harvard Negotiation Master Class program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School's Program on Negotiation (PON), as part of their executive education. To further their business knowledge, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Financial Management Services from Murray State University.

James also has certifications in various fields. James obtained a Certificate in Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School Online, specializing in Strategic Negotiation Analysis. In the field of mediation, they obtained a Certificate in Theory And Techniques for the Advocate and Mediator from Northern Kentucky University—Salmon P. Chase College of Law.

James holds an IMA Data Analytics & Visualization Fundamentals Certificate from the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
