Barry Murphy

Barry Murphy currently serves as the Director of Facilities at RainCity Housing and Support Society, focusing on safe housing solutions for vulnerable populations in North America. With extensive experience in facilities management, Barry previously held the position of Facilities Manager at The Bloom Group Community Services Society, addressing urgent needs in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Prior roles include Senior Team Lead and Team Lead at Vixxo, where expertise in asset and facility management was cultivated, and Sales & Service Team Lead at Cymax Group, a leading online furniture retailer. Barry began a career in the Irish Greyhound Board/Bord na gCon as a Judge, Time Keeper, and Track Maintenance. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Systems Maintenance from Technological University Dublin.
