Paul S. Hammer

Paul S. Hammer, MD, currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Rainfall Health since September 2021. In addition to this role, Paul holds the position of Medical Director at Island Psychiatry & Behavioral Health from February 2019. Prior experience includes operating a private practice as a psychiatrist and organizational consultant from November 2017 to October 2021, and serving in the US Navy as the Assistant Inspector General for Medical Matters from October 2015 to October 2017. Previous leadership roles encompass command of the Navy Medicine Information Systems Support Activity and directing the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psych Health and Traumatic Brain Injury and the Naval Center for Combat & Operational Stress Control. Paul holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Uniformed Services University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from the University of San Francisco.
