Kalyxa Roman

Kalyxa is a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied Marketing. She was brought to RAN through the RAY Diversity Fellowship, a program for young BIPOC professionals to advance in the fields of conservation and clean energy.

Kalyxa is passionate about leveraging her marketing and communications skills to amplify causes that are important to her, particularly movements for environmental, racial, and economic justice. In addition to her experience in market research, marketing analytics, and social media management, Kalyxa brings her passion for grassroots organizing to the team.

You can often find her volunteering with her local Sunrise Movement hub, as well as other local justice organizations and progressive political campaigns. One of her biggest interests is sustainable and ethical fashion, and she loves exploring sustainable innovations in the fashion supply chain, as well as the concept of the circular economy. Throughout her career, Kalyxa hopes to continue educating and building consensus around these visions of change.
