Celia A. Harvey

Celia A. Harvey holds a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Cornell University and a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Stanford University. Currently serving as the Director of Climate and Climate Lead at Rainforest Alliance since September 2022, Celia also acts as a Senior Fellow at Global EverGreening Alliance and a Research Affiliate at Monteverde Institute. Previously, Celia was an Ecosystem-based Adaptation Specialist at the UN Environment Programme and worked as an international consultant for various organizations including CIFOR and IUCN on forest landscape restoration. Celia has extensive experience in climate change solutions, having held the position of Vice President for Climate Change Solutions at Conservation International, and served as a Professor and Academic Coordinator at CATIE.
