Jean Pierre Smiet possesses extensive experience in human resources and leadership, currently serving as the Chief People Officer and Global Director HR (Interim) at Rainforest Alliance since February 2022. As the Founder and Managing Consultant of People Investors since September 2016, Jean Pierre has developed HR strategies for various organizations. Previous roles include ownership at Villas & Cars Curaçao and HR Lead for Retail Banking at ING. Jean Pierre co-founded AME Agency, specializing in artist, media, and event management. Other significant positions include Director People & Transformation and Global Director HR (Interim) at GKN Fokker Services, as well as HR Director at Ziggo. Jean Pierre's educational background includes a Master of Science in Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from NHL Hogeschool.
