Niall Robb

Niall Robb is a seasoned professional in the field of geographic information systems and environmental management, currently serving as the Technical Manager for the Accountability Framework Initiative at Rainforest Alliance since September 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Technical Manager for Forests at CDP from August 2020 to August 2023, and as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst at Space Intelligence Ltd from November 2019 to August 2020. Niall has an extensive background with the Scottish Government, where various roles were held from January 2015 to August 2020, including GIS Digitiser Deputy Team Leader and Strategic Environmental Assessment Gateway Administrator. Additional experience includes positions at Groundwork, Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation, Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team, and Crowd2Map Tanzania. Niall holds a Master of Science in International Development and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from The University of Edinburgh.
