Roger Nelson has extensive experience in capital management and advisory roles, specializing in commercial real estate and debt portfolios. Roger is currently serving as the Managing Director of Rainstar Project Capital, overseeing the deployment of $50 billion annually into global transactions. Prior to this, they held the position of VP Managing Director at Rainstar Development Capital, a subsidiary of Rainstar Capital Group, where they were responsible for financing commercial real estate projects.
Roger has also served as the Managing Director at Rainstar Capital Group, a multi-strategy private equity firm, where they focused on investments in distressed debt portfolios, small business advances, and real estate. Before that, they held the position of Managing Director at VanCap Capital Advisors, a private consulting firm specializing in commercial real estate financing and capital structure solutions.
Roger's earlier experience includes roles as the Managing Partner at Beacon Capital Advisory Group, where they provided discretionary lending and advisory services in commercial real estate, and as the Fund Manager at Beacon Capital Debt Fund LLC, managing a $5 million fund focused on short-term, high-yield real estate loans.
Before transitioning into the capital management field, Roger served as the Managing Director at Integrity Wealth Partners LLC and as the President of Home Assist Corporation.
