Raise Robotics
Ansel Chan is a Mechanical Engineer at Raise Robotics since September 2022, with previous experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Riverside, where research focused on designing a bird-inspired jumping robot. Ansel played a significant role in the UCR RoboSub team, serving as both Systems Integration Advisor and Mechanical Lead, contributing to the design and manufacture of a competitive autonomous submarine. Involved in various projects, Ansel has held roles such as Project Chair for IEEE@UCR, Mechanical Team Member for Unmanned Aerial Systems, and Mechanical Engineering Intern at Technology Evolving Solutions. Ansel earned a Master's degree in Robotics and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside, and has a background in leadership and teamwork developed through various student senate positions and participation in robotics competitions.
