Carmelo Borg

Carmelo Borg is an experienced development and apprenticeship coach with a career spanning over two decades in various roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Development Coach at Raise the Bar since May 2022, Carmelo previously held positions as an Apprenticeship Coach at TUI, a Skills Coach at Skillnet Limited, and a Trainer Assessor/Expert Coach in Financial Services at learndirect apprenticeships, where the emphasis was on inspiring apprentices to achieve their potential. Carmelo's early career included significant roles at the Royal Bank of Scotland as a Private Banking Officer and Branch Manager, as well as positions in retail management at Gap Inc. and Debenhams. Educational qualifications include a BTEC Level 3 Award in Education and Training and a City and Guilds Level 3 Award in Assessment Principles.
