Eero Vainio

Eero Vainio is an experienced public servant and leader with a strong background in local and regional management. Currently serving as a Board Member at Green Industry Park Oy and Mayor of Raision kaupunki, Vainio has previously held the position of Mayor in the Municipality of Petäjävesi and played significant roles in the City of Lahti, including Half-time Chairman of the Education Board and Chairman of the Lahti Region Environmental Board. Vainio's expertise encompasses strategic decision-making, climate change, sustainable development, and environmental management, complemented by past leadership in regional council roles and involvement with the Social Democratic Party of Finland. Educational qualifications include a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Administrative Science from the University of Tampere.
