Eliana Avila Phr, Shrm-Cp, Cude

Eliana Avila, who is a PHR and SHRM-CP certified professional, has extensive work experience in the field of human resources and marketing. Eliana started their career at The Walt Disney Company as a Vacation Planner in 2001. In 2002, they joined Teachers Federal Credit Union as a Human Resources Generalist and later served as the Human Resources Manager from 2013 to 2015. Since 2015, they have been working at Raiz Federal Credit Union, initially as the Marketing and Public Relations Manager and subsequently as the Vice President of Human Resources.

Eliana Avila, PHR, SHRM-CP, CUDE obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Corporate Communication from The University of Texas at El Paso, where they studied from 1999 to 2004.

In addition to their bachelor's degree, Eliana has earned several certifications in various areas. Eliana obtained the Credit Union Development Educator certification from The National Credit Union Foundation in November 2021. Eliana has also completed numerous LinkedIn courses and obtained certifications in topics such as Change Management, Leadership Communication, Emotional Intelligence, Inclusive Leadership, and Managing a Diverse Team. Their most recent LinkedIn certifications were obtained in October 2023, focusing on Implementing Change Effectively and Roadmap to Planning for Change Management.
