Janaina Gama

Janaina Gama has extensive experience in the legal and regulatory field, with a background in both the energy and telecommunications industries. Janaina has held key positions such as Legal Director at Raízen Power, Board Member at Luziânia-Niquelândia Transmissora and Belo Monte Transmissora de Energia, and Legal Director at State Grid Brazil Holding. Previously, they served as Legal Superintendent at CPFL Renováveis and Senior Legal Manager at LafargeHolcim. Janaina's work has focused on managing legal cases, compliance, corporate governance, and regulatory strategies to protect company interests and ensure legal compliance.

Janaina Gama completed their Bachelor's degree in Law at Universidade FUMEC - Oficial in 1999. Janaina went on to pursue an MBA in Business Administration and Management at Ibmec from 2002 to 2003. Janaina then furthered their education by obtaining a Graduate degree in Competition Law from Universidade de Brasília in 2005-2006. Janaina later completed an MBA in Marketing at ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing from 2006 to 2008. In 2017, Janaina earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporate Law and Capital Markets from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Janaina continued their specialization in EU-South American School on Global Governance at CE Jean Monnet in 2021.
