Muthukumaran Chandrasekaran, PhD has extensive work experience in various fields, including artificial intelligence, robotics research, multiagent systems, and web development. Muthukumaran currently serves as the Vice President of Artificial Intelligence at Rajant Corporation, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Principal AI Scientist at Rajant Corporation from June 2020 to April 2022.
Before joining Rajant Corporation, Chandrasekaran worked at Schlumberger as a Robotics Research Scientist from July 2017 to April 2020. Muthukumaran automated the inspection of oilfield equipment using collaborative robots, developed microservices-based software architecture, and led the development of a continuous integration and testing framework.
From 2008 to 2017, Chandrasekaran worked as a Research Assistant at THINC Lab @ UGA, where they focused on multiagent systems and artificial intelligence. Muthukumaran also served as a Math Tutor in 2015, a Lead Web Developer at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine from 2011 to 2013, an Application Developer at EITS, University of Georgia in 2013, and an Application Programmer at the University of Georgia - College of Agriculture and Environment Sciences from 2009 to 2011.
Additionally, Chandrasekaran worked as a Technical Assistant at the School of Social Work, UGA from 2007 to 2008, where they helped design an inventory management system using MySQL and PERL.

Muthukumaran Chandrasekaran, PhD, has a strong educational background in computer science and engineering. Muthukumaran graduated with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy in 2007. Muthukumaran then pursued a Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence at The University of Georgia from 2007 to 2010. Continuing their education at the same institution, Muthukumaran completed their PhD in Computer Science from 2010 to 2017. Additionally, they have obtained multiple certifications in various areas, including Reactive Architecture, Deep Neural Networks, Machine Learning, and Python, further enhancing their expertise in the field.
