Tim Chin

Tim Chin has extensive experience in the IT and security field. Tim is currently the Director of IT & Security at Rajant Corporation, where they have been since 2020. In this role, their responsibilities include CMMC compliance certification, vulnerability scanning, creation of security policies, and implementing NIST 800-171 security controls, among others. Tim has also implemented an IT Help Desk and standardized enterprise workstations, reducing costs by 27%. Prior to joining Rajant Corporation, Tim worked as a Network Consultant at CL Tech Solutions, Inc. and held various roles at Analytical Graphics, Inc, including Sr. Systems Administrator/Team Lead, Systems Administrator, and PC Support & Helpdesk Technician. Tim has also served as the President of the Springfield II Chapter of BNI. Tim started their career as a Help Desk Support at Elf Atochem, N.A. Tim Chin also served as the Director of IT & Security at Rajant Health from 2022 to 2023.

Tim Chin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Drexel University between 1996 and 2001. Tim then pursued a Master's degree in Cyber Security at the same university from 2017 to 2022. In addition to their formal education, Tim Chin obtained several certifications including the APT Certification, BreadCrumb Basics, and VLAN Certification from Rajant Corporation in 2021.
