Alana Salkeld

Alana Salkeld is a Microfabrication Process Engineer at Rakon since March 2020, with a robust background in electrical and electronics engineering. Prior experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at both the University of Canterbury and the University of Michigan College of Engineering, focusing on the fabrication and characterization of electrical devices on metal oxide semiconductors. Alana's academic journey includes a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Canterbury, complemented by roles as a tertiary teaching assistant and student supervisor for outreach programs. Additionally, early career experiences include engineering student internships at Fisher & Paykel Appliances and SWITCHBUILD LIMITED, along with retail positions.
