Rakon
Bob Bennett is an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer specializing in product research and development at Rakon since June 2006, focusing on the design and simulation of ceramic substrate layouts and matching networks for GPS receivers using Agilent EMDS and ADS CAD software. Prior to Rakon, Bob held roles as a Senior RF Design Engineer at 4RF Limited, Lucent Technologies, Piping Hot Networks, and Nokia Networks, where responsibilities included synthesizing waveguide filters, resolving RF performance issues, and designing components for high-efficiency power amplifiers. Bob began a career in RF design at Nortel Networks, contributing to the development of Fixed Wireless Access Base Stations, and started in the field as a Graduate Trainee at Marconi Communication Systems Ltd. A Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering was obtained from Loughborough University from 1976 to 1979.
