Suzane San

Suzane San is currently the VP of Global People Operations at Rakuten Medical. Suzane has over 10 years of experience in accounting and human resources. Prior to joining Rakuten Medical, Suzane was with Epic Sciences as a Senior Staff Accountant where they managed payroll and benefits administration for 200+ employees. Suzane also supported accounting/finance operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll, cash management, and annual audits. Suzane also implemented and managed Concur Travel and Expense Management system working with 3rd party vendor to successfully migrate and set up employee data. Suzane has also worked with MG Properties Group as a Payroll Specialist where they were responsible for all accounting/HR activities including benefits, compensation, and accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR) for 150+ employees. Suzane has also prepared bi-weekly payroll, and coordinated with 100+ vendors weekly for processing vendor invoices ensuring compliance with regulations, procedures, and guidelines; facilitated worker’s compensation claims as needed.

Suzane San has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Phoenix. Suzane also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix.

Suzane San works with Eduardo Rodenas - CMO, Carlos Garcia - CTO, and Abhijit Bhatia - Chief Strategy Officer. A direct report to Suzane San is and Gabriela Velasquez - Leader, Talent Acquisition & Development. Suzane San reports to Hiroshi Mikitani, Vice Chairman & Co-CEO.
