Garrett Hyde

Garrett Hyde is an experienced professional with a strong background in cybersecurity, system administration, and technology leadership. Currently serving as an Assistant Battalion S3 in the Utah Army National Guard since February 2013, Garrett has played pivotal roles including Detachment Commander and Senior Security Automation Engineer at Rakuten International. Garrett has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Utah Valley University, imparting knowledge on Linux/UNIX system administration. With extensive experience in both military and civilian sectors, including positions at Red Hat and Full Throttle Computing, Garrett adeptly blends technical expertise with strategic oversight, demonstrated by a successful history of implementing security solutions and managing complex infrastructures.
