Jason Sebring

Jason Sebring has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal field. Jason began their career as an Associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Shearman & Sterling LLP in 1998. In 2000, they joined Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati as a Partner/Of Counsel, where they handled various corporate governance matters, securities law issues, and business combination transactions. In 2016, they joined Shutterfly, Inc. as the SVP & General Counsel, overseeing the company's law department and serving as the Chief Compliance Officer. Jason also briefly served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer. Currently, they are the Chief Legal Officer at Rakuten Americas, a position they started in 2021.

Jason Sebring has a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, obtained in 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University at Albany, SUNY in 1993. In addition, they are a Licensed California Attorney certified by the California State Bar.
