Dar T. is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Manager of the SRE and DevOps Group at Rakuten since September 2015, overseeing a multinational team responsible for the availability and performance of Customer Identity and Access Management systems. Previous roles include Vice Manager and Principal DevOps Engineer, where Dar led the Site Reliability Engineering Group in migrating applications to Kubernetes and implementing robust monitoring solutions. Earlier experience includes positions as a Service Reliability Engineer at Asurion Hong Kong, Operations Engineer, and Systems Analyst II, showcasing expertise in software build and deployment automation and large-scale production environment management. Dar holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of the Philippines in the Visayas and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Information Technology at De La Salle University.
