Hitesh Shah

Hitesh Shah is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in managing software development teams across several prominent tech companies. Currently serving as a Sr. Engineering Manager at Rakuten since September 2016, Hitesh leads multiple scrum teams within the Rakuten Catalog Platform, overseeing cross-functional collaboration. Previous roles at Rakuten include Engineering Manager and Technical Lead, where Hitesh significantly contributed to the Google Cloud Platform initiatives and the growth of the Catalog platform. Prior experience includes technical leadership roles at Ask.com and PayPal, along with management of development teams at Salesforce.com. Hitesh holds a BS in Computer Science from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and a Certificate in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
