Rohit Dewan

Rohit Dewan is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the tech industry. Currently serving as CTO of Platforms at Rakuten since September 2013, Rohit oversees core platforms and infrastructure, including a Global Data Platform managing over 150PB of data. Additionally, Rohit holds the position of Executive Officer, collaborating with the leadership team to shape corporate strategy. Previously, Rohit has held various roles, including CTO at Rakuten Viki and involvement with Google Cloud's Customer Advisory Board. Early career roles include directing engineering teams at companies such as DeepNines Technologies and Cisco Systems. Rohit holds a B.Eng in Computer Engineering from McGill University.
