Rushyendra Maganty

Rushyendra Maganty has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Rushyendra started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Tagit Pte Ltd in 2018. Rushyendra then joined Bridgewater Associates as a Technology Associate Intern, where they learned about software engineering in the context of systematic trading. During the same year, they also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Open Robotics, contributing to the popular open source Robot Operating System (ROS) and the Ignition Gazebo simulator. In 2020, Rushyendra interned at Samsara, a Series-F startup, where they developed and deployed a monitoring service for an alerting system. Currently, they are working at Duolingo as a Software Engineer, starting in 2022. Throughout their career, Rushyendra has gained expertise in various programming languages and technologies, including Go, TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and C++.

Rushyendra Maganty attended Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) from 2009 to 2014, where they received an IB Diploma. Rushyendra then pursued higher education at Yale University from 2017 to 2021, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. At Yale, they studied Computer Science and Philosophy.
